Barton Peveril College
We have produced the Barton Peveril College promotional video for the last 6 years.
The college wanted a new version produced for Autumn 2005, to reflect the new buldings and facilities at the college.
We were approached to produce the latest version as an interactive DVD-ROM. The College wanted users to be able to play the DVD video back on a computer and access the college's website.
We began by planning and writing a script for the video. Four students from the college were then recruited as presenters to read on-camera links, and a filming schedule was drawn up.
Filming took place at the end of the Summer 2005 term, and was then completed the beginning of the Autumn 2005 term, as the new facilities opened.
Over 6 days, we filmed the presenters links, footage of lessons and the college, interviews with the students and interviews on results day.
We then had a 2 week turnaround, to produce a 10 minute guide to the college, sections on different aspects of college life, a CD-ROM version and a DVD-ROM version!
The final video recieved excellent feedback, and looks set to continue a fruitful relationship.
