The Making - Contemporary Art, Craft & Design
Over the past 4 months we have completed 3 film projects for The Making.
The Making (a craft & design education charity, based in Hampshire) aims to to inspire and engage new audiences for contemporary craft, art and design through 'making' and 'doing'.
The Theatre of Making is its pioneering touring programme of participatory craft events and informal learning aimed to inspire people of all ages to take part in the making of art.
We were initially approached to film and edit Theatre of Making in Gosport, a one-day event based in Gosport High Street. The day
featured a host of British designers and makers leading workshops ranging from textiles to origami and screen printing.
Our work for The Making, then continued with the documenting and editing of Fired Up!, held at the Milestones Museum in Basingstoke. This featured a range of designers and makers leading various workshops.

Our most recent brief from The Making was to film and edit Celebrate in Style a one-day craft & design extravaganza at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill. The participants learnt how to make festive themed decorations.
All three days were accompanied by live music and performance.
