We are currently working on a range of projects including the following:

Aiming High

We have just started a project with Hampshire Council to follow their Aiming High For Disabled People programme over the next few months. The end result will be 2 DVDs. One will be designed to be viewed by activity providers, to give them clear reasons for why they need to be more inclusive and to show successful inclusion in action and the second will before disabled young people and their families, to promote inclusive activities happening across Hampshire.

Park Meteor Project

We are currently working with Park Community School pupils and Creative Partnerships to create a short film about a meteor landing in the school grounds. Working with a mixture of photographers, sculptors, textile artists, and actors the group of young people will be creating a docu-drama showing the aftermath of this exciting event!

NoCo Dance Film

We are currently working with Basingstoke based NoCo ,a street dance group run by Hampshire Dance, to create a four minute creative dance film based around an original piece of music by our very own Gary Cassey and Sean Hughes. The film will be premiered at The Point on the 17th of March 2010 and will utilise innovative post-production techniques.

Creative Hampshire Partnerships

We have been commissioned to evaluate a number of Creative Hampshire Projects throughout the region, with a particular focus on the relationships between schools and arts venues. Among the venues involved are The Ashcroft Arts Centre and The Point Eastleigh.

Bounce

We are currently documenting a project with The Institute of Sound and Vibration Research (based at Southampton University) and Hampshire Youth Dance Company, exploring the connection between movement and sound. The dancers are working with a choreographer and musician to create an innovative piece of work that will showcase the scientific principles in an accessible way. We are using a mixture of live footage and animation to tell the story of their journey from conception to completion.

NRG2 Project

We are currently documenting Hampshire Dance’s NRG project which aims to promote dance as a fun, physical and creative activity, placing a strong emphasis on the health benefits of dance and inspiring young people to exercise. We are filming in a number of schools in West Sussex and will be continuing to document their progress as they embark on a 10 week challenge to improve their fitness levels. The finished film will be used to show the health benefits of dance to health professionals and schools.

Find Your Talent

We are delighted to have been commissioned to work with Audiences South and Ruth Jones on evaluating the next phase of Find Your Talent in the PUSH region. This innovative project will also see us play an integral part in supporting the Young People’s Voice and Influence Programme through a series of workshops and training sessions to enable young people to gain the skills to enable them to evaluate projects themselves.

Creative Partnerships

Creative Partnerships is the Government's flagship creative learning programme, designed to develop the skills of young people across England, raising their aspirations and equipping them for their futures. In Spring 2010, we will again be working with Park Community School to train students in filmmaking skills, enabling them to make a short film set in their school. This project is being entirely managed by the young people involved and will feature the aftermath of a meteor landing in their school playground! This is helping to cement our reputation as the leading provider of video workshops in Hampshire and the South of England.
