News - Rabbit Run, Portsmouth FC, Avery Healthcare

We are currently working on a range of projects including the following:

	Rabbit Run We have just returned from Europe, having filmed the latest Rabbit Run car tour. This year's event saw over 30 prestige cars hare around France, Germany and Belgium in pursuit of the infamous Rabbit Run trophy. We are currently editing the project in preperation for the reunion in September. The programme is likely to be aired on ITV 4 in early 2010.
	Find Your Talent - PUSH Find Your Talent gives children and young people the chance to try out different cultural and creative activities. It's about helping them to discover new things, to express themselves, to develop a passion and to make the most of their talent. We have been documenting the pilot stage of this project for the PUSH partnership. To date we have covered 10 projects and are currently producing a highlights DVD to help evaluate and promote the initiative.
	Radian Radian brings together, in one group, unmatched experience of building, regenerating and managing sustainable homes and environments, together with a specialist organisation which is wholly focused on providing quality care services that make a difference for people who need help or support to fulfil their lives. We are currently producing a familiarisation DVD to compliment their staff induction programme.
	Portsmouth FC We are continuing our work for Pompey's analysts and coaches. Current projects include motivational videos for England internationals Peter Crouch and Glen Johnson.
	Wessex YOT - Headway Project We are currenlty working with the Wessex Youth Offending Team and Headway to produce a DVD that highlights the consequences and effects of head injuries. Headway is a national charity set up to give help and support to people affected by brain injury.
	Hampton Trust We are currently working with the Hampton Trust, to document one of their Southampton-based projects for evaluation purposes. The Linx project is designed to help young women with problems with violence to gain self esteem and to learn to work together as a team.
	Twyford School This year we will are helping Twyford School to document their 200 year anniversary. Twyford’s year of celebrations kicked off with a concert at Winchester Cathedral and will continue throughout the year with other exciting projects. We will be filming all of these projects to commemorate this historic event.
	Dance In The Valley We were delighted to be asked by Test Valley Borough Council to produce a 10 minute dance film for them. This creative piece of work involves 4 distinct community dance groups, ranging from belly dancers to mums and toddlers and was filmed on location at Amport House. We are currently in the editing process, which involves cutting together footage from 3 different cameras and adding complex animation sequences. The film will be premiered at The Lights in Andover this summer.
	Creative Partnerships Creative Partnerships is the Government’s flagship creative learning programme, designed to develop the skills of young people across England, raising their aspirations and equipping them for their futures. We are currently working with Park Community School and Portchester Community School in Hampshire on 2 seperate projects funded by Creative Partnerships. Both projects involve training their students in filmmaking techniques and assisting them in producing their own videos.
	Eastleigh Borough Primary School Project We are currently working with 3 local primary schools on a filmmaking project. We have been running training sessions with each school and assisting them in producing a DVD guide to their respective schools. The pupils (at Scantabout, Merdon and Hiltingbury) have been gaining skills in camerawork, presenting, editing, graphic design and music composition. This is part of our Hants Media Hub initiative with Eastleigh Borough council and has been funded by the Joint Investment Fund.
	Transitions Project - Hampshire County Council Continuing our regular work with both Adult and Children's Services at Hampshire County Council, we have been documenting a series of workshops aimed at confronting the issues faced by service users facing the transition from Children's to Adult Services. As part of the process we have been offering training to adults and young people with disabilities.
	George Abbot - Year 9 workshops In July of this year, we will again be visiting George Abbot School in Surrey to run of series of filmmaking workshops as part of their Year 9 Arts Week. This will be the 8th year in succession that we have run the course and the focus this year will be on adventure movies. The students will produce their own film trailer around this theme with help and assistance from our team of professionals.
	Southampton University - PGCE DVD We are currently working with a group of students on the PGCE course at Southampton University, assisting them in producing a promotional DVD for the course.
	worriedaboutsatan Don't be put off by the name! They may sound like a heavy metal thrash band, but worriedaboutsatan are in fact a 2-piece electronica band from Leeds that produce lush, cinematic music to die for. In colloboration with Kontrast Productions, we are currently producing a music video to accompany their new track 'you're in my thoughts', taken from their debut album 'arrivals'. Look out for it on MTV soon!
	The Discovery Centre Workshops Following on from our successful workshops last year, we will be running 2 filmmaking workshops for The Discovery Centre, Winchester in August. See their website for more details and booking information. www3.hants.gov.uk/wdc
	Rowner Photography Project We have been asked to get involved in the Rowner Photography Project as part of the Rowner Renewal Partnership. As part of the project we will run a series of photography workshops for the young people of Rowner and assist them in documenting the regeneration of this neglected area.
	Avery Healthcare We are about to produce web videos for two more homes for this leading UK care home provider. This will involve a day of filming at each of their developments in Chester and Heckmondwike and follows on from our videos for their homes in Salisbury, Bristol, Kettering and Northamptonshire.
