Baleful was produced with funding from First Light Movies. We led on this project, which involved working with a group of Hampshire youth dancers and professional choreographer Leanne Webb. This film was created, filmed, edited and starred in by the dancers. Telling the story of a party gone wrong in a rundown mental health institution, the film mixes dance, strong visuals and music to create a challenging, yet accessible piece of work. We have worked on a number of community dance films in recent years and find it a fascinating and extremely creative field to work in.
